For the first Melon Head assignment, I was required to use an image of separate fruit and vegetable pieces, and create a full head and face out of them. For the second Melon Head, I was required to use the first Melon Head and put it on the face of an animal, and put the animal and melon head on a background and use them to create a composite image. For the Melon Head 1, I created the melon head as directed, and used it, for Melon Head 2, on the head of a Giraffe, and put the Giraffe on the background image of Outer space. For the principles of design used in the images, I used Unity, Balance, and Harmony for Melon Head 1, and used Emphasis on Melon Head 2. As for the elements of design, I used Texture, Color, and Shapes for both Melon Head 1 and Melon Head 2.​
