For these assignments, I was first required to find a picture of a duck, and open it in photoshop, and paint over it using tools in photoshop (This was for the Painted Duck assignment). I was then required to create a Duck Days Poster (a flyer for the Duck Days Art Show in Davis, CA) using my duck as the main image. To make the Painted Duck and the Duck Days Poster, I used two principles of design: Rhythm and Unity. As for the elements of design of both the Painted Duck and the Duck Days Poster, I used Shape, Color, Lines, and Texture.
